IDEA tends to bring out the best in our districts future architects and engineers. Today at the District 14 Regional Final at LCCC something was accomplished that has never EVER happened before and we were amazed!

Someone achieved a PERFECT 100% score in the Assembly Modeling Division. Newsflash!!! He took home the gold Medal as well. Say congratulations to Alton High School's Xavier Carter! There are most certainly bright things on the horizon for this young man. Word has it he is a future engineer. I believe he is off to a great start ❤️🤍❤️🤍❤️🤍❤️🤍❤️

Been wondering how the IDEA Regional Final went earlier today? Well the good news is that all four schools took home hardware but some things never change and as usual Brussels High School owned the Intro to CAD Division taking home their 5th 1st Place Gold Medal in a row! Congratulations to Morgan Klaas! She wears gold very well. Not sure who that bearded guy in the photo is tho 😉

It's almost that time again! This Friday March 3, 2023 is the annual IDEA Regional Final at Lewis and Clark Community College .High School Drafting students from area high schools will again gather to compete in seven different categories from things like Introductory Drafting and 3D Design to Architectural drawing and Assembly Modeling.

IDEA stands for Illinois Educators Drafting Association. This organization has long been a champion for the craft of Design and Drafting for many decades. See the photos below for some of the 2022 Regional Winners from Alton, Brussels & Jerseyville High Schools. We are thrilled to host them all again this year. Stop by on Friday March 3rd between 12 & 1pm to find out who will take away the hardware this year 👍🏿💙
