We are thrilled to mark the graduation of 20 senior leaders from DHL Global Forwarding Middle East & Africa's Sustainability Leadership Development Program (SALAM)!
As project coaches, we had the privilege of guiding these exceptional leaders in designing and prototyping projects that align with DHL's corporate citizenship programs, creating meaningful community impact.
This program has been an incredible journey, empowering leaders with the tools to integrate corporate sustainability into their roles while fostering deeper engagement with the communities they serve.
During the graduation, these inspiring leaders presented innovative prototypes addressing critical challenges. These included providing housing for families affected by the earthquake in Morocco, offering trade-related training to women-led cooperatives in earthquake-impacted areas of Turkey, promoting recycling in Luanda's informal settlements in Angola, and increasing rural school attendance in Ghana by providing bicycles.

We are honored to have been part of this transformative experience and can’t wait to see how these prototypes grow into sustainable solutions that drive lasting impact.

This past month, we had the pleasure of witnessing the graduation of two dynamic cohorts from our Leadership for Growth program in Kenya and India.
But this is not just a moment to mark the completion of a 6-month journey—it is about celebrating the incredible community built. At the heart of this program is the belief that leadership is not a solo endeavor. The bonds formed among participants create a network of like-minded changemakers that will continue to thrive long after the program concludes.
These leaders, drawn from diverse sectors and regions, have spent months learning, connecting, sharing, and supporting one another. Our wish for them is that they continue to innovate and lead with resilience.
