Location: Bill Hanks Ballfield (North Face Park)
Dates: Fridays, September 23 - October 21 (5 weeks)

September 23 @ 6:30pm - Introductory Drop-In and Kick-Around - players and teams interested in the league should come and check things out!

Scheduled league games officially begin September 30
Game Times: 6:30pm, 7:30pm, and 8:30pm
13 players max per team
8v8 - seven field players + one goalkeeper
2x25 minute halves
Players form their own team
Teams must play in an identifiable team color
Cleats - games are played on grass.

Team Liability Waiver must be signed by all participants and submitted to staff at first game.

Hello All,

As we continue to build our referee pool in the Valley, we are pushing to get new referees certified before FC Glenwood's tournament (May 28th and 29th). With a certification, referees can make more money and ref higher level games than those who are uncertified.

Typically, referee certification courses requires students to complete online modules and then attend an in-person session. The course on 5/15 from 5-9pm will be a live Zoom class, instead of an on-field session. Students must still complete online modules prior to the 5/15 Zoom session.

Here is the step-by-step instructions for choosing a Grassroots First Time Referee Course:

Step 3: Attend Your In-Person Training Session

The in-person training may be a field session, a zoom meeting or a combination of the two. It is designed to prepare you for working games as the Center Referee. This is active participation. You are receiving "on the job training." You may be shadowing working referees and assistant referees, doing active drills and video analysis. Be prepared to actively participate so that you are ready to work games.
