Our speaker from a few weeks ago was Grace Buettner, an R1 student from CCA Barrington.
Grace spoke about different types of worship! Just a few touched on are how we can worship God by NOT doing something, worshiping through restraint, and worship through kindness. We can reflect Jesus’ acts of kindness to each other and that is an act of worship. Grace encouraged our students to be on the look out for opportunities to worship each day! Thank you Grace!

Our guest speaker last week was Eleyna Soloj, an R2 CCA student and future class of 2028. Eleyna shared about the importance of reading scripture with our students, a lesson always worthy of repeating! She reminded us about the importance of prioritizing reading the bible in our lives. Many times we say “I don’t think God is listening to me. I don’t feel anything.” But, do you read your bible? We learn His voice through reading his word. Jesus doesn’t ask for perfection but he does ask for obedience. When we read the bible we are transformed over time to look more and more like Him. We need to prioritize it. Thank you Eleyna for reminding us of the importance of prioritizing reading the word.
