I was raised by the most loving and unconventional mother of holistic medicine and free-thinking mentality. She helped lay the foundation of my empathic growth and helped me build my own pillars of self-awareness. These along with many of her 1001 life lessons, I put towards my very intensive, very personal weight reduction journey in 2020. I had always been on the heavier side since was young and
the only time I felt like "myself" was when I was 19-21 years old at 135lbs. Though afterwards my weight up just climbed and kept steadily climbing. It was at the end of summer in 2019 that I looked at myself while on vacation in San Diego at 199lbs and I said..."OMG NO! So in the winter on 2019 I signed up for a 6 week weight loss program.
6 weeks went by and I went down to 197lbs and drop 1.5 inches...I considered this a success as it equipped me with the mental fortitude to venture on my own weight reduction journey. I was working for myself doing a grocery delivery service during the beginning of COVID and took the opportunity to work on myself physically and mentally. The first two months I dropped 15lbs by just walking, light exercise and vibing in nature and then within three months, I dropped 30lbs as I dived deep, deep, deep into myself and my emotions. Recognizing where I held emotions and how much space it was taking up within me. After each realization, I acknowledged those emotions, because I was the one that generated them in the beginning and I would become the one that releases them in the end. As I said goodbye to those unneeded emotions within, my weight reduction accelerated. Within six months I reduction down to 155lbs and was FIT! Now in 2022, I am at a very comfortable 135lb after I continued my work in sluffing off the old me that was holding onto every little thing, to my true self and building the person I want and need to be.
