Save Potts School Rd

Neighbors! You may have heard the excessive, organized shooting a few weeks ago at 11 Potts School Rd. The noise levels well exceeded an acceptable level. These were not boyscouts learning to shoot; it was anonymous men with high caliber hand guns. The loud shots by multiple shooters continued for hours. Tell our township to stop their use of the residential area as a gun club.

Address your concerns (yet again) on Wednesday, November 22 at the township building - 8am meeting time. Tell our supervisors to stop letting Beaver Creek Preserve violate the zoning ordinances once and for all.

If you cannot attend, send a letter or email to East Nantmeal Township - copy all supervisors.

What beautiful sunshine today !!! We were asked why FOPSR is remaining anonymous and why some of you received an anonymous flier in the mail. For a few reasons:

1. When we attempted to post publicly in other groups such as Living in Glenmoore or Nextdoor our posts were IMMEDIATELY deleted from the forums and we were told our posts were “political”.

2. There are personal attorneys involved, so we can’t always comment further though all PMs will be answered as directly as possible.

And of course, we want to protect our families too since we live here and the members of the Beaver Creek Preserve do not. This is our safe space to keep you and all the neighbors informed. Enjoy your day!

Thanks for your interest! As of now, the Beaver Creek Preserve has yet to take further action in response to the appeal of the grading permit issued by the township.

Good Morning !!! Over the next week you may have received a flier in the mail about the proposed shooting range at 11 Potts School Rd. Updates - township meetings, etc - will be posted here. Like our page to stay informed. Thx!

You may have noticed the 30 dump trucks a day barreling down our no-outlet little road. We did. Then we started to hear beeping of machinery all. day. long. The township did not have any permits on file so ... we kept digging.

The 8.2 acres are owned by “Beaver Creek Preserve” - a group of 7 men. Seven. They are grading the plot to build berms for a shooting range.

Yes, range. Multiple people shooting constantly at all hours of the day & night. Classes being taught to groups like police officers and swat teams.

And it’s happening in your backyard. With the help of township officials looking the other way - despite easements and zoning. Despite several of us already chiming in to say we do not support a shooting range less than 200 yards from our homes.

The grading permits are being prepared right now actually. And they will soon request building permits, too. It’s time for action ...

Will you help us? Will you join us in saying “no” to a shooting range?
