The Seniors shared their stories this past weekend and as they did strongholds were broken and God was praised. We can’t wait to see what God does in and through them as they remain faithful to Him!

Keep reflecting as we head into Easter..
🍃Garden of Gethsemene: Jesus went into the garden to cry out to God; “Take this cup from me, but not my will but yours be done!” What would it look like for you to say to God, “not my will but Yours be done”?

🦶Jesus Washes the Disciple’s Feet: Jesus “stooped low” to serve his friends. Is there a place in your heart or life where pride is keeping you from “stooping low”?

🥖The Last Supper: Jesus gathered his twelve friends to have one last meal together, to spend time remembering. What does the sacrifice of Jesus mean to you? Take a moment to remember.

✝️ Jesus Nailed to the Cross: When Jesus took his last breath, he cried out “It is finished”. What sin do you want “finished” in your life?

➗The Veil was Torn: For generations, access to God was restricted. But when Jesus breathed his last breath, the veil in the temple was torn- God’s presence became accessible to all those who believed. When have you felt separated from God? Take a moment to remember you are in His presence.

“Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a person commits are outside the body, but whoever sins sexually, sins against their own body. Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.”
‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭6‬:‭18‬-‭20‬ ‭

This past Sunday we finished up our sexual integrity series. Remember sexual integrity is choosing to respond to the sexual desires that you think about, feel and experience in a way that honors God, others and yourself.

It will be a battle and every battle needs a plan. This is how you flee!

1. Recognize the Root- When and why am I turning to p**n or other sexual sins?
2. Recreate habits- When I notice the “root” or trigger, what new response can I choose to break the habit?
3. Enlist help- Who is a trusted adult I can ask to help keep me accountable?
4. Look to Jesus- Why is God’s plan best? It won’t be easy but it will be worth it.

God goes with you. And we are here too as you battle for God’s best. 🙌🏻
