A message from Pastor John:
Dear Grace Family and Friends,
I have some very sad news to share with you. Yesterday morning our Junior High Pastor, Adam Keehn, suddenly and unexpectedly passed away at his home due to natural causes. Many of you know his wife, Maddie, and the reality that she is just a few weeks away from giving birth to their first-born, a baby girl.
Our hearts our overwhelmed with grief on so many levels - for Maddie, family, close friends, our junior high students and leaders, our staff, our community and more. With God’s help and strength, we will walk through this together knowing that Adam has now arrived at his final destination in heaven with Jesus.
For now, we want you to prepare and plan to come on Sunday and spend time together singing, praying, crying, hoping, and just being together in God’s presence to bear one another’s burdens. We will be combining the two 9 AM services into one service in the Ministry Center. At the 11 AM hour both the English and the Spanish services will be combined into one service as well in the Ministry Center.
We love Maddie deeply and we know you will want to help and encourage her through all that is ahead. We have set up an “Adam Keehn Memorial Fund (non-tax deductible)” for you to give a financial gift to help and support Maddie moving forward. You can give to that fund by going to our giving page and selecting the “Adam Keehn Memorial Fund (non-tax deductible)” tab. The link to give is in our bio.
“The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.”
- Psalm 34:18
We need each other right now,
Pastor John Dix
