Helping kids build confidence while families grow

We fail forward.

At The LAB, we teach kids how to dig deep, try again, and face that voice of doubt in their head. The voice that says they can’t do it. The voice that tells them to play it safe.

Instead, we teach them one simple rule..

Don’t play scared.

This weekend, we’re wishing Flip Rodriguez and our The LAB Florida | Elite Ninja Training the best of luck as they compete at WNL Worlds! As we celebrate their journey, we’re also looking ahead.

In just a few short weeks, our LAB Glendale team will be stepping onto the world stage at Ninja World Championships.

The work is being done now. The reps. The setbacks. The breakthroughs. The moments nobody sees.

Every challenge is preparing them for what’s ahead.

To all of our athletes.. Trust your training. Have fun. Support your teammates. And remember…

Don’t play scared.

Your moment is coming. 💪🔥🥷

Courage creates confidence.

This week, we are asking kids to be brave, try again, and step outside of their comfort zone.

Because real confidence is built the moment they choose to go for it.

Come build with us.

THIS ONE IS FOR THE LADIES 💥

March is Women’s History Month, and GIRL POWER is coming back to The LAB. 💜

A space for girls to get stronger, build confidence, and take up space in ninja — because girls belong here.
On the course. In competition. In the conversation.

Shoutout to the for all they do to create more space and opportunity for women in ninja. Hoping to collab in season 2. 👊

And we’re just getting started.

GRIP BURNOUT 🔥

Coach RJ made this look WAY too easy…

But anyone who’s done a ninja grip circuit knows…
your forearms are done after round one.

Think you could make it through this course? 👀

ATHLETE SPOTLIGHT: XANDER

At just 7 years old, Xander is already in year 2 of his ninja journey and year 2 of competing.

He shows up with dedication, determination, positive energy, and grit every time he steps into the gym. No matter the challenge, he keeps going. Even when an obstacle feels out of reach, he keeps trying and finds a way.

That is what makes him special.
The mindset. The perseverance. The joy. The refusal to give up.

So proud of you, Xander. Keep working. Keep smiling. Keep being you.

Check out his growth over time on YouTube: Ninja Xander

Coach RJ is back this week with another solid drill.
This one is focused on the Sky Hook transfer.. the transition, the body movement, and the control it takes to make the next move clean.
It's not just about getting there.. It's about how you move through it.
Repetition is key.
That's how technique gets sharper.
That's how confidence gets built.
That's how the movement starts to click.
Real coaching. Real progress.
One rep at a time.
