The Washington High School Purple Pride Music Boosters is a group of dedicated parents whose mission is to offer input and provide support to the Instrumental Music Programs at WHS. We are focused on creating fundraising opportunities that will support the Purple Pride Marching Band, W.H.S. Concert Band and Orchestra and other music programs, as well as building strong relationships with our North

Event Information

• Event: Hometown Christmas Parade
• Date: Saturday, 14 December 2019
• Report time to be at the staging area for WHS Purple Pride Marching Machine is
o 0800 hours / 8:00 AM
• Location: Downtown Glendale
o The Purple Pride Marching Machine will be staging in the parking lot behind a Little Caesar’s Pizza (SW Corner of 51st Ave and Glendale Ave). The parking lot is on the north side of W.Lamar Rd. If you need a physical address for your GPS, put in 6746 N. 51st Dr.

• Details:
• Hometown Christmas Parade will take place in downtown Glendale, AZ. Staging will be located at 51st Avenue south of Glendale Ave. The route proceeds west on Glendale to 58th Avenue where it turns south to the de-staging area.
• Parade begins at 11:00AM
Parade will go down Glendale Avenue starting at 51st Avenue and ending just before 59th Avenue.

Good Morning Music Boosters!

This is just a reminder that all Marching Band Students need to be at WHS at 1pm today. Dinner will be provided and the kids will stay and play for the football game against Glendale.
