John Charles Bedini
Electrical Engineer, Inventor
July 13th, 1949 - November 5th, 2016 The talents are different. He could "compose on the fly."
Some people play the piano by music, others play by ear, and some can do both. John Bedini had a natural ability with electronics. He did not work from a circuit diagram, though he knew how to read them and compose them. For him, the positioning and balancing of components comes as naturally as one who is gifted at playing the piano by ear. He had a natural feel for what diodes to use with what ca
pacitors and transistors and transformers; what they do, and how they interact. He worked with these building blocks, even making the from scratch for years. His original and persisting fame came in the world of audio equipment. His Bedini sound systems are still used in the professional recording industry. Three-D sound, the ability to convey high fidelity on junk wires, digital sound with the quality of analogue, and more. John Charles Bedini, 67, passed away unexpectedly on November 5th, 2016. He was born in Glendale, California., on July 13th, 1949, to Rosalee and Alex Bedini. He moved to the Coeur d’Alene area in August 1990 and was presently living in Hayden. He was a proud member of the Hayden Lake Eagles where he served as Trustee. He loved cooking for various events held at the Eagles Lodge. His favorite pastime was working on and driving his hot rods and motorcycles. He and his brother, Gary, ran electronics manufacturing businesses for more than 40 years. John had a natural talent for designing electronic circuits. Many times he would wake up from a dream and sketch the circuit down on any kind of paper he could find around the house. Most recently his talents were being used in the design and manufacturing battery chargers and solar tracking devices for use in home solar power units. PATENTS
