In 2007, Magdalena Yesil walked onto the AUA campus as a curious visitor. That visit turned out to be the beginning of something far larger than a campus visit.
A Silicon Valley pioneer and first investor in Salesforce, Yesil first established the Troy Kevork Wickett and Justin Yeshil Wickett Endowed Scholarship named after her two sons.
In addition to supporting AUA’s scholarship program, Yesil recently established a named endowed visiting professorship at the AUA Zaven P. and Sonia Akian College of Science and Engineering
Magdalena will be the keynote speaker at the upcoming AUA's 35th Anniversary Gala on November 7 in Los Angeles.

On June 3, the AUA community came together to honor the life and legacy of late President Dr. Haroutune K. Armenian — a visionary educator, physician, and public health pioneer whose impact on AUA and Armenia runs deep.
From building modern facilities to welcoming AUA's first international students, Dr. Armenian helped shape the university into what it is today. His belief in education, community, and human potential continues to guide us.
We are grateful for every life he touched and every door he opened. His legacy lives on in these walls, in our students, and in the communities he served.
