Due to the heavy snowfall this evening and the continuation of the storm throughout the night, we have determined that Wednesday, February 22, 2023, will be a remote learning day. This means our schools will be closed, which, unfortunately, also means we will not be able to provide student meals tomorrow.

All morning extracurricular activities are canceled tomorrow. We will send an update mid-day tomorrow regarding afterschool and evening extracurricular activities scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 22, once we have a better idea of what the storm will look like tomorrow.

We have prepared for a remote learning day like this. Teachers have provided materials, either online learning or printed materials they have sent home with your student(s) earlier, that students will work on while schools are closed. Teachers will be available online to support students during the school day.

Parents, if you have questions about your student’s assignments tomorrow, please reach out to their teacher(s) directly.

Current 8th graders who are going to East High School or are planning to transfer:

On Feb. 7th, East High will have an open house where you can learn more about classes and activities offered there. Transportation will be provided from Glendale. See the flyer below for more information.
