So before taking the leap of faith into the leather business, I was known (by a few realistically) as a wood carver. It was a skill I learned in college. My drawing skills suck, as I draw one dementionally and carve 3 dementionally. As my carving skills progressed my former brother-in-law presented me with a walnut and oak chess board with blocks of wood of the same. He made the knights wider as my previous attempt with a birch set turned out german shepards instead of horses. The pawns took the longest as there are 16 of them. 16 different yet similar faces. This was a project I started in 1984, put it down until around 1990 and finished it. The queens have massive b***s at the request of my ex wife. Thinking and designing out of the box all my life, living with Attention Deficit Disorder. Find your focus...just saying
