The Clock Tower Schools is now PACTT-Affiliated!

We’re proud to share that Clock Tower Schools has officially been approved as a PACTT Affiliate in Core Requirements and Job Skills Training.

This recognition reflects work that’s already been taking shape at Clock Tower—career exploration, employability and soft skills, industry credentials, hands-on construction training, and helping students connect their interests to real education and employment pathways.

Becoming a PACTT Affiliate gives us another way to build on that foundation, expand credential opportunities, and keep strengthening the connection between what students learn here and where they want to go next.

We’re excited to be part of the PACTT Alliance!

🐦 Science, Conservation, and Curiosity in Action 🐦

Today, Clock Tower Schools students participated in the annual Banding of the Birds event where they had the opportunity to experience conservation research firsthand.

Working alongside researchers and volunteers from the Bird Club of Delaware County, students observed the Purple Martin banding process, learned about migration and habitat conservation, and asked thoughtful questions throughout the morning.

Purple Martins are remarkable birds, traveling thousands of miles each year from South America back to Pennsylvania—often returning to the very same nesting colony year after year. By carefully banding these birds, researchers can better understand their migration, survival, and nesting habits, helping to protect a species of special concern in Pennsylvania.

What stood out most today was our students' curiosity. They asked insightful questions, engaged with the researchers, and even had the opportunity to safely hold Purple Martin nestlings while learning about the important role conservation research plays.

Experiences like these remind us that some of the best learning happens through hands-on exploration, meaningful conversations, and the chance to connect with the natural world.

Today, we pause to recognize the meaning of Independence Day: freedom, responsibility, growth, and the opportunity to build a better future.

At Clock Tower Schools, we see every day how young people can move forward when they are given structure, support, accountability, and a chance to believe in what comes next.

Wishing our students, families, staff, partners, and community a safe and meaningful Fourth of July.

Sweet moments on campus! 🍦

CTS students enjoyed a special visit from the Mr. Softee truck, bringing smiles, laughs, and plenty of ice cream to campus. It was a fun way to celebrate our students and give everyone a chance to cool off, connect, and enjoy a well-deserved treat.

Today, The Clock Tower Schools recognizes Juneteenth — a day that marks the delayed arrival of freedom for enslaved people in Galveston, Texas, and a powerful reminder that freedom, justice, and opportunity have never been evenly distributed.

For schools and youth-serving organizations, Juneteenth calls us to reflect not only on history, but on responsibility. Our work with young people requires us to create environments where dignity is protected, potential is recognized, and every student has a meaningful pathway forward.

We honor this day by recommitting ourselves to education that is restorative, equitable, and grounded in the belief that young people are more than the circumstances that brought them to us.

In Remembrance: Honoring Memorial Day

This Memorial Day, The Clock Tower Schools pauses to honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.

Their courage reminds us that freedom is never free - it is protected by sacrifice, service, and love of country.

As a school community, we are grateful for the opportunity to help students understand the values this day represents:
• Honor for those who served
• 🤍 Gratitude for those who sacrificed
• 🌟 Respect for the freedoms we share

Today, we remember the heroes who never came home, and we hold their families in our hearts.

Today, The Clock Tower Schools reflect on the life and legacy of a leader whose words and actions reshaped our world.

Dr. King reminded us that progress begins with courage—and that justice, compassion, and dignity must be at the center of how we teach, lead, and live.

As we guide the next generation, we recommit to building the kind of community he dreamed of: one rooted in empathy, equity, and hope.

“Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.”

As we head into a new year, we’ve been reflecting on what truly makes The Clock Tower Schools special — the students who show up ready to learn, the families who trust us, and the educators who give their best every single day.

The past year brought challenges, growth, and plenty of moments that reminded us why this work matters. We’re proud of how our community continues to support one another and show up with care and commitment.

As we step into the year ahead, we’re grateful for where we’ve been and hopeful for what’s next.

Wishing our students, families, and staff a happy, healthy New Year. We’re glad to be on this journey with you.

🎁 Holiday Heroes: CTS Kids Support Toy Drive

This season, CTS kids showed their community spirit by supporting the Toys for Tots toy drive—partnering with Harry’s Hands to Help and Heal to make a difference for children in need.

• CTS students stood in solidarity with a meaningful cause
• Their presence helped spotlight the importance of giving back
• A heartwarming example of youth standing up for others 💛

Moments like these remind us that support isn't just about giving—it’s also about showing up.

How are you showing up for your community this season?
