Welcome to KIDSUNITED Short Pump, where we nurture the potential of every child through our comprehensive soccer programs in Glen Allen. Our mission is to guide children to become healthy, active, and self-confident individuals. Kelly here. This fall has me thinking a lot about growth, both the kind we watch happen in our kids and the
kind happening at Short Pump itself.
We opened our doors this past February with a much smaller team. Now we are hiring new coaches and
new front desk faces just to keep up with how many families have found us since. Every single one of
those new hires exists because a family decided to give us a try.
That is not something I take for granted, not for one week.

Reaction speed is one of those skills nobody thinks to practice on purpose. Watching the ball, reading
what happens next, and responding before there is time to overthink it.
That quick-thinking habit shows up far beyond the pitch, in a classroom, on a playground, anywhere a
child needs to think on their feet.
