Hawaii has been on repeat around here. 🌺 And with even more Hawaii adventures already on the books for 2027, I don’t think that’s changing anytime soon!

Molly’s family trip was such a great example of why I love planning multigenerational travel. More people, more preferences, more logistics, and often a few work realities to work around—but that doesn’t mean the trip itself should feel complicated.

For their Hawaii vacation, I planned time on Oahu and Maui, thoughtfully balancing their wish list, family needs, activities, sightseeing, timing, and all the little logistics that can make a trip feel overwhelming.

I know the price matters. It should.

But sometimes, when we’re planning a trip, we can get so focused on the individual pieces — the hotel rate, the transfer, the excursion, the flight — that we forget to step back and remember why we wanted to take the trip in the first place.

Because travel is emotional.

It’s the anniversary you’ve been looking forward to.
The family you finally get to gather together.
The milestone you want to celebrate.
The places you’ve dreamed about seeing.
The memories you hope you’ll bring home with you.

And yes, there’s a dollar amount attached to all of it.

But that dollar amount isn’t just paying for a hotel room or a transfer.

It’s paying for an experience thoughtfully crafted around you — one that flows well, minimizes the stress, gives you confidence in the details, and allows you to be present for the moments you traveled so far to experience.

That’s where I come in.

Because when you’re standing in the middle of the trees, it can be hard to see the whole forest. 🌲

I’m looking at the entire picture.

Not just what does this cost?
But what does this add to your experience?
What will make this trip feel easier?

Today is a busy day of finalizing travel documents, making plans in my head for our Scotland trip in ’27, getting our first major group trip out the door to the south of France with Chef Ouita Michels, and so many other things happening behind the scenes.

I know these places are nothing new. London, Paris, and New York City are all places you probably already think about when you think about vacationing.

But as someone who’s been there and done that, I can tell you—there is something absolutely astounding about experiencing them this time of year. ✨

They become more romantic. More cozy. More magical. Somehow, even with all their grandness, they feel a little more intimate during the holidays.

And then there are the Christmas Markets on the Danube. ❤️

A river cruise takes you beyond the big cities and into places you may have never seen before—and probably wouldn’t think to visit by land. Think charming, storybook towns that feel straight out of a Hallmark Christmas movie, twinkling lights, handmade goods, music in the streets, and Christmas turned all the way up.

Four very different ways to experience the holidays. And honestly? I’d happily choose any of them. 🎄

Because creating your trip is about so much more than booking a beautiful hotel and sending you a confirmation number.

I’m thinking about you.

What are you celebrating?
What do you want to feel while you’re away?
How do you want your days to flow?
Where do you want to linger, and where do you want things handled for you?

It’s how you feel walking the streets of Rome, Paris, or London.

It’s leaving your hotel for a tour and knowing exactly where you’re going, that your tickets are ready, and that the details have already been handled.

It’s knowing what comes next without having to figure it out while you’re standing on a street corner in a city you’ve never visited.

That’s the part of travel I love.
