I shared a beautiful, intimate celebration of Day of the Dead with a group of the Farmworker Women Leaders from Gilroy, San Juan Bautista, Aromas and Hollister. They are producing their own organic crops through regenerative practices and ancient traditions seeking to protect the earth and our environment. They need all of our support !

Tuve el honor de compartir el Dia de los Mu***os en una hermosa, íntima ceremonia con un pequeño grupo de la organización Mujeres Campesinas Líderes del area de Gilroy, San Juan Bautista, Aromas y Hollister. Ellas trabajan la tierra para producir alimentos orgánicos a traves de prácticas restorativas milenarias que protegen la tierra y el medio ambiente. Su arduo trabajo y su organización necesitan todo nuestro apoyo !

The Ofrenda Festival was a beautiful tribute to the international tradition of honoring our ancestors and remembering our loved ones who have passed. Joy and fellowship was all around 🎃 !

El Festival La Ofrenda fué un hermoso tributo a la tradición internacional de honrar a los ancestors y a los difuntos seres queridos. Nuestra comunidad salió a participar con gozo y espíritu 🎃 !

La Ofrenda Festival of Gilroy is coming up this Saturday, Nov.2nd in downtown! I am excited to have a table there and help celebrate our Latino tradition of honoring our ancestors and our multi-generational roots as we remember our loved ones who have passed away.
