Alexis Kemp for 87th Yam Queen Alexis Rae Kemp represents the Bluebonnett Literary Club for the 87th East Texas Yamboree Queen's Race held from June 17th - June 28th Hi!

My name is Alexis Rae Kemp and I am representing the Bluebonnet Literary Club. I am the daughter of Mitchel and Kimberly Kemp and sister/sister-in-law of Trenton and Kaylee Pierce. I am also the granddaughter of Sammy and Diane Kemp of Hallsville and Gerald and Debbie Wood of Nacogdoches. I attend Gilmer High School and I am a member of the Lady Buckeye Varsity Volleyball, Softball, and Track team

s. I am also a member of the National Honor Society, FFA, and I attend New Beginnings Church. I enjoy playing travel softball, traveling to the beach with my family, leading a bible study group, and spending time with friends. My plans after high school are to attend East Texas Baptist University where I will continue my softball career while majoring in the field of Nursing.
