COMMENT BELOW: Is enough being done to STOP bullying in our schools? Would you support community advocates like the instructors at ProComp coming into the schools to help curb the bullying epidemic?
For a lot of children and teens, "Back to School" means back to bullying and we want to help! Because of the ongoing problem of bullying, many students dread school and have trouble focusing in class because they think others are judging them and want harm to come to them. THIS NEEDS TO STOP!
Bullying affects far more than a child’s day at school. It can impact confidence, academic performance, mental health, friendships, and even their willingness to attend class. While schools work hard to address these challenges, preventing bullying is a community effort that requires parents, educators, mentors, and positive role models working together.
At ProComp Sport Martial Arts, we believe the goal isn’t to teach children to fight—it’s to teach them they don’t have to be victims. Through martial arts, students develop confidence, respect, discipline, emotional control, and the communication skills needed to de-escalate conflict before it becomes physical.
Imagine students learning:
• How to project confidence instead of fear.
• How to respond to bullying without escalating it.
• When to seek help from trusted adults.
• The importance of respect, empathy, and standing up for others.
• Real-life strategies to stay safe in today’s world.
We believe every child deserves to feel safe, respected, and empowered.
If your child’s school would benefit from a bullying prevention presentation or workshop, we’d love to partner with them and be part of the solution.
What do you think?
