Along with engine and transmission work, Tuffy is getting wheel and tire upgrades. The stock black smoothie wheels were powder coated white and new tires installed. When she’s all done, I’ll be installing original Chevy C10 chrome hubcaps on the wheels. It’s going to look so clean! 🛻

Today the restoration work kicked off on old Tuffy truck. The hood was removed, everything disconnected, and the old 327 V8 with 2 speed Powerglide came out. Just you wait and see what’s going back in next week! What could it be? Leave a comment with your guess. 😆 I’m very grateful to have her in the hands of Charley’s Garage in Mesa. Old and busted meets new hotness! 🤣 I don’t only build drums, I’ve been working on pools since I was a teenager. My mother in law’s 25 year old pool controller went out and thanks to Amazon a replacement came overnight. A quick swap out and her pool is back in business and circulating once again!
