Jamethyst has a new friend in the studio! I picked up this Trixon Elite cocktail kit on a whim about a month ago and paired it with a 12” Zildjian Special Recording hi hat cymbal set and an A Custom crash ride. I used it for the first time during our stripped down rehearsal tonight and it sounded pretty sweet! Sizes are as follows: 15x25 kick drum/floor tom, 10x5.5 high tom, and 8x5.5 popcorn snare. Fun little kit!

I just picked up the new Evans Pull Chord Drum Key and this thing is awesome! The speed at which you can “finger tighten” the tension rods on an 8 lug snare is insane! After finger tightening you can use the stationary bottom key to fine tune your heads! You should definitely check them out!
