What an EASTER celebration with our Compassion Prep family!

Thank you for coming to celebrate with us! What a special time we had as we celebrated Jesus and watched our awesome preschoolers sing songs about Him! We especially enjoyed our community in the yard afterwards enjoying an egg hunt, petting zoo, inflatables and food trucks! We love our Compassion Prep families! He is alive!

Today is the day! We can't wait to celebrate with our Compassion Prep family!! We have been celebrating Easter all week long- and can't wait to celebrate with you at our Compassion Prep Easter service at 2:30 today! After the service, we will enjoy an Easter egg hunt together, all siblings are welcome to participate! He's Alive!!

🫧Learning through play! 🫧 Our 1s and 2s class has been having so much fun with sensory activities and fine motor skill activities! From playing with bubbles to sorting out colored puff balls, our one and two year olds get to develop their basic essential skills in class!

🐸🪷Learning About Ponds! 🪷🐸 This past week, we learned all about ponds and the animals that live in them! We even made our own classroom pond full of fish, snakes, ducks, frogs, and dragon flies that each student made themselves. At Compassion Prep, we love making crafts while learning all about the wonderful world God created!! 🌎

🧵🔤 Q is for Quilt!

Learning the letter Q came to life as our students each decorated their own square and worked together to create a beautiful class quilt. This hands-on activity helped build letter recognition, creativity, and teamwork — while showing how every child’s work matters. 💛✨

💗🍕 Valentine’s Day Celebration! 🍕💗

Today our classrooms were filled with smiles as students enjoyed pizza, fun crafts, and passing out valentines to their friends. It was a sweet reminder of how special friendship, kindness, and community are in these early years. 💌✨

📚💗 Library Day + Valentine creativity!

After reading Pete the Cat: Valentine’s Day Is Cool during library time, our students decorated their own paper love bugs — bringing the story to life through hands-on creativity. Activities like this help build early literacy, spark imagination, and strengthen fine motor skills, all while spreading a little extra love. 🐞✨

Last week, we were so thankful to welcome Officer Kellogg to Compassion Prep to answer our students’ questions and teach them about what it means to serve and protect. Our kids loved learning firsthand about police officers and how they help keep our community safe.
