Do we fight WITH each other...yes! Any couple that says they don’t fight I have to question. It comes in many forms, but “fighting” as a couple seems inevitable. What is more important is that that we fight FOR each other.

This season has been SO full, too full honestly, but some of that is out of our control and some is self-induced. Our retreat went unscheduled for the first time in years! Our dates have been less frequent and alone time has been scarce. Can anyone relate?

However, we plant in the good seasons to harvest even in the hard seasons. What do I mean by that? We have a “mostly” consistent routine of time together, we keep short accounts, we forgive and we invest SO THAT in the lean seasons we have margin. We usually talk about margin in time and finances, but I want you to think about RELATIONAL margin.

When I coach my clients about a healthy lifestyle I describe “big deposits, small withdrawals” as a way to create long term health. The same is true for our marriages! Big deposits and small withdrawals. I’m grateful that in a season where our kids, our businesses and travel headaches have required a lot more of us that we have made big deposits.

The next retreat is scheduled, date nights are coming, everyday stress is inevitable, but we are SOLID!

I hope this encourages you today. ❤️‍🔥 ~ Bek

This is 49!

Wrinkles, scars & a complete surrender to the King of Kings!

I’m healthier in my body than 39 or 29! I’m also closer to Jesus, have an incredible group of friends, a dream husband & kids I love fiercely.

I get to work with some of the best people on the planet and I know WHO I am & WHOSE I am.

I have a LOT to work on, but I am so grateful for the way God continues to draw me in. ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥

Most plans fail — not because people quit — but because the plan asks too much from the person and too little from the system.

Motivation fades.
Life gets busy.
Stress increases.

When a plan depends on willpower, it eventually collapses.

Structure changes everything.
Structure carries you when motivation dips.
Structure removes guesswork.

That’s why systems outperform intentions every time.🩵

As we reflect on the last few days of this year, I’m grateful that I know who holds me up when I’m too weak, who loves me completely and who holds the future. 🙌🏻
