One of the most meaningful parts of our day was taking time to reflect on our “why”—why we chose early childhood education and why the work we do every day matters. ❤️

Our team shared ideas, worked together, and prepared their classrooms to welcome our children and families back for a fresh new year.

💙 Almost 10 Years of Love, Learning, and Goodbyes 💙

After almost 10 years with Cadence, one thing I have learned is that saying goodbye never gets any easier.

Each year, I have the privilege of watching amazing children learn, grow, gain confidence, and prepare for their next big adventure: Kindergarten or TK. While I am incredibly proud of the little humans they are becoming, a piece of my heart goes with every child who leaves our doors.

My heart is deeply invested in these kiddos. I've celebrated their milestones, wiped their tears, listened to their stories, and watched them grow into kind, curious, and capable young learners. Seeing them spread their wings is one of the most rewarding parts of my job, but it is also one of the hardest.

To all of our graduates, thank you for letting me be a small part of your journey. I hope that when I see you out and about in the years to come, you'll remember me, your teachers, and all the fun-filled days, friendships, laughter, and memories you made at Cadence.

I will miss each and every one of you more than you know, but I am so excited to see all the wonderful things your future holds.

💙 Friendship, Laughter & Growing Up 💙

One of the best parts of preschool is watching friendships bloom. There is something so special about seeing children laughing together, creating games, sharing adventures, and making memories with their friends.

As we watch our classrooms filled with smiling faces and happy play, we're also reminded that some of our preschoolers will soon be spreading their wings and heading off to kindergarten. While we're excited for the amazing journey ahead of them, we'll certainly miss their big personalities, contagious laughter, and the joy they bring to our days.

For now, we're soaking up every moment and celebrating the friendships, fun, and unforgettable memories being made right here at Cadence Academy. ❤️

Our Sea Otters and Orcas had an absolute blast at our Foam Party on August 10th! 🎉

The children laughed, danced, ran through mountains of foam, and made unforgettable summer memories with their friends. It was wonderful to see so many smiling faces enjoying this exciting sensory experience while staying cool and active outdoors! ☀️💙

The Sea Otter Class had a wonderful time exploring and learning at the water table last week! ☀️ Water play provides so many opportunities for children to develop fine motor skills, practice sharing, explore cause and effect, and most importantly—have fun!
There was lots of laughter, splashing, pouring, and discovering as our little learners worked together and enjoyed the beautiful outdoors. Moments like these help create meaningful learning experiences that keep children engaged and excited to come to school each day.
