Hello Everyone,
I have been teaching my students our National Anthem, The Star Spangled Banner each year for over 20 years. We have sung it at retirement homes each Veteran's day. (We had to do videos during the past two years because of the Pandemic).

Here are my Reasons for teaching it to my students
1) You are an American
2) You need to honor our military Vets and those who gave their lives.
3) It is a hard song to sing
4) You will always have opportunities to sing it.

This past Friday I received an email from someone who needed a singer to sing the National Anthem the next day, (SAT) at a well attended event. I am happy to say that Kate States did an amazing job and sang it for her first time in public! Way to go Kate! Nailed it!
