Today, we're going to take a look at effective communication! Effective communication involves more than just using a variety of speech sounds and vocabulary words.

It includes interacting, asking questions, making requests, expressing emotions, and more. Regular evaluation of communication functions will provide therapists with a more accurate measure of progress over time. After a few weeks, while the client may not be using more words, they may be using language for more communication functions than before!
