Thanks to the Doug Flutie, Jr. Foundation for Autism, families got a peek at the sensory rooms at the new Highmark Stadium during last Tuesday’s open Buffalo Bills practice.

Designed to provide a quiet, low-light environment, these spaces give individuals and families a place to take a break from the noise and excitement of game day when needed.

Thank you to the Flutie Foundation for helping make the new home of the Bills a more inclusive space for everyone! 🏈❤️💙

We are incredibly grateful to Buffalo Bills tight end Dalton Kincaid for choosing The Summit Center as the recipient of his $10,000 Home Run Derby prize from the Greg Rousseau Charity Softball Game.

After taking home the Home Run Derby title in June, Dalton had the opportunity to select a charity to receive his winnings, and we are honored that he chose Summit.

Thank you, Dalton, for stepping up to the plate and making a meaningful difference for Summit and the autism community! 🏈⚾

A huge thank you to the Buffalo Bills for providing tickets to families from The Summit Center for their first preseason game at the new Highmark Stadium on Aug. 19. Our families had a blast cheering on the Bills as they took on the Carolina Panthers and came away with a 29-14 victory!

We’re grateful to the Bills for helping our families make memories together and experience the excitement of game day. Go Bills! 💙❤️🏈

We’re expanding opportunities for inclusion! ❤️

The Summit Center is opening its seventh STEPS location, giving even more adults with autism and other disabilities the opportunity to connect, contribute and participate in their communities.

STEPS East Amherst will open in early September and support 12 individuals through community-based activities like recreation, volunteering, shopping and more. The new location will be based in a renovated home on Transit Road, generously donated by West Herr Auto Group. STEPS East Amherst marks our second collaboration with Claudia’s Club, an independent nonprofit founded by Mary and Tom Rosenecker.

We’re grateful to our partners for helping make this new locations possible and proud to continue growing STEPS, a program that helps adults build meaningful connections and feel included in their communities.

⚾ On Sunday, four of our top teams from the Autism Walk enjoyed a day at the ballpark to watch the Buffalo Bisons!

Members of Teddy’s Trailblazers, Quadir’s Crew, Théoden’s Fellowship, and Ready, Set, Go 4 Matthew cheered on the Buffalo Bisons as they defeated the Norfolk Tides 9-3. As an extra-special bonus, Théoden’s Fellowship was chosen to throw out the first pitch. 🎉

Thank you to everyone who participated in the 2026 Autism Walk and to the Buffalo Bisons for making this such a fun experience!
