Don’t wait for people to “affirm you”.
Don’t wait to feel ready.
Don’t wait for others to change…
…they WONT!
Don’t wait to “understand”
Don’t wait for apologies
Don’t wait to be “healed”

Possess your Power:
Be determined
Be teachable
Be forgiving…
…of yourself and others
Be persistent
Be patient
Be loving

Move Forward:
Accept reality
Accept losses
Accept help…
…everybody needs it!
Accept what “happened”
Accept your mistakes
Accept responsibility

Seek to Serve:
Look for opportunities
Look for your abilities
Look for needs…
…they are all around
Look for the good
Look for what’s broken
Look to contribute

If your parent is still “running your life” or “devastating you by their comments”, then take back your power and be bigger than their comments and/or thoughts!
