🍀✨ St. Patrick’s Day Fun in Our School Kitchens! ✨🍀

Our students were feeling the luck of the Irish yesterday with our Shamrock Sipper Smoothies 🥤💚 — a delicious blend of bananas, pineapple, apples, and spinach with yogurt, topped off with whipped topping and a sprinkle of Lucky Charms magic! 🌈✨

It was a festive and fun way to celebrate while serving up something nutritious and tasty!

A big THANK YOU to our incredible kitchen staff for all of their hard work this week and every day. Your dedication keeps our students happy, healthy, and fueled for learning! 💚👏

Some more changes at GMHS.... Our long time Cook Manager, Donna, has moved on to a new opportunity. We are so grateful for her years of dedication and hard work, and she will truly be missed. We wish her nothing but the best in her next chapter! 💙

We are excited to announce that Maryellen will be stepping into the role of Cook Manager at GMHS! 🎉

Maryellen is truly a student and staff favorite, and for good reason. She brings a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and a genuine care for our school community every single day. Her dedication to serving delicious, nutritious meals and creating a welcoming cafeteria environment makes her an amazing fit for this role. We are so excited to see her lead the kitchen and continue the great work happening at GMHS.

Under the leadership of Sue, who keeps the kitchen running in tip-top shape, this team continues to shine every single day. A huge thank you to Erika, Kerry, Rose, Lisa C., and Chris for their hard work and dedication. There are many rules and regulations to follow, and this team takes their responsibilities seriously—always following guidelines while greeting students with smiles and serving delicious, healthy meals. 💙🥗

We also want to recognize our amazing custodians — Eric, Pano, Ben, and Tim — who consistently go the extra mile and truly step it up to support our school kitchen. 🧹✨

And a big shout-out to our wonderful lunch monitors — Jenn, Sylvia, Jenn, Tina, and Hector — who help make the cafeteria a positive, welcoming place for our students every day. 🙌

Happy Halloween from Georgetown Public Schools Food Service. Students at Penn Brook enjoyed bat shaped chicken nuggets and orange/lime flavored frozen treats. At GMHS, students had vampire frozen treats with Pomodori pizza. Huge shout out to our amazing team! Wishing everyone a fun and safe evening.
