Jake's day has begun

Our Jake's Day this Saturday August 1st is a rain or shine event like every year! If severe weather comes in, then we will make a decision at that time what to do.

JAKES Day is happening this Saturday (Aug. 1) in Scott County!

This free youth event is designed to give children the opportunity to learn more about outdoor activities, including hunting, fishing, and much more.

Several groups from Kentucky Fish and Wildlife are attending the event, including our Information Center staff, so make sure to find us and say hello!

Your observations help our team track long-term data that supports wildlife management decisions, evaluates habitat conditions, and improves understanding of annual population changes.

What a great way to start the morning! ☕🍩

The NWTF Double Eagle Chapter stopped by Hunter Education today to put the coffee pot on, fresh Spalding's donuts, and a warm welcome for everyone spending their Saturday learning safe, responsible hunting.

It was a pleasure meeting so many future hunters and outdoor families, and we were excited to invite everyone to join us for JAKES Day on Saturday, August 1!

Thank you to the Kentucky Hunter Education instructors and volunteers for investing your time in the next generation of hunters and conservationists. We appreciate all you do!
