Good evening, HH Beam Elementary families! This is Principal Beth Crosby with your final Bulldog News message for the last three days of school for the week of May 18th- 20th.

Tomorrow, all eligible fifth grade students will take their Science End of Grade retest. We will also have students taking other end of grade tests and make up assessments. Please make sure that your student gets a good night’s sleep and eats a good breakfast.

Our Awards Day ceremonies continue this week. On Monday, we will celebrate third grade at 9am and second grade at 12:30pm. On Tuesday, we will honor our 1st graders at 9am and our fifth grade at 12:30pm. On Wednesday, we will honor our fourth grade at 9am. Our doors at our gym will open at 8:30am and 12:00pm for families during each ceremony.

Final report cards will be sent home with students on Wednesday. If a student is absent on Wednesday, families can come to the front office on Tuesday or Wednesday May 26th or 27th to pick up their child’s report card between the hours of 8:00am-3:00pm.

We are so very proud of the fantastic progress made by all of our HH Beam Bulldogs this year. Please keep a close eye on our social media pages this summer to learn about exciting events coming in the 2026-2027 school year! Let’s make it our best week yet and show off our Bulldog Pride!

¡Buenas noches, familias de la Escuela Primaria HH Beam! Les habla la directora Beth Crosby con su último mensaje de las "Noticias Bulldog" para los últimos tres días de clases, correspondientes a la semana del 18 al 20 de mayo.

Mañana, todos los estudiantes elegibles de quinto grado presentarán su examen de recuperación de Ciencias (End of Grade). También tendremos estudiantes presentando otros exámenes de fin de grado y evaluaciones de recuperación. Por favor, asegúrense de que su estudiante duerma bien por la noche y consuma un buen desayuno.

Nuestras ceremonias del Día de la Entrega de Premios continúan esta semana. El lunes, celebraremos al tercer grado a las 9:00 a. m. y al segundo grado a las 12:30 p. m. El martes, honraremos a nuestros estudiantes de primer grado a las 9:00 a. m. y a los de quinto grado a las 12:30 p. m. El miércoles, honraremos a nuestro cuarto grado a las 9:00 a. m. Las puertas de nuestro gimnasio se abrirán a las 8:30 a. m. y a las 12:00 p. m. para las familias durante cada ceremonia.

Las boletas de calificaciones finales se enviarán a casa con los estudiantes el miércoles. Si algún estudiante falta el miércoles, las familias pueden acudir a la oficina principal el martes o el miércoles —26 o 27 de mayo— para recoger la boleta de calificaciones de su hijo(a) en el horario de 8:00 a. m. a 3:00 p. m.

Estamos sumamente orgullosos del fantástico progreso logrado por todos nuestros "Bulldogs" de HH Beam este año. Tomorrow and Friday, all eligible students will participate in End of Grade Retesting in Language Arts and Math. Please make sure that your child is at school on time and has had a good breakfast!

Kindergarten Awards Ceremony is at 1:00pm on Friday. The gym doors will open at 12:30pm for parents.

Yearbooks will be distributed on Friday afternoon.

Good evening, HH Beam Elementary families! This is Principal Beth Crosby with your Bulldog News for the week of May 11th-15th.

Tomorrow, all fifth grade students will take their Science End of Grade Test. We will also have students taking other end of grade tests and make up assessments. Please make sure that your student gets a good night’s sleep and eats a good breakfast. All students DO need to bring a bookbag to school tomorrow

Also tomorrow, all students will bring home notification of End of Grade scores that have been taken this past week. It will be on a stapled piece of paper and placed in your child’s bookbag. Classroom teachers will also reach out with further information. Reteaching will occur in reading and math on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. The EOG Reading and Math Retests will be on Thursday and Friday this week.

On Friday, we will celebrate our kindergarten students in our first End of Year Awards Ceremony. The ceremony begins at 1:00pm and doors will open at 12:30pm. Families will enter at the gym doors to sign in.

Yearbooks will be distributed on Friday afternoon. We do not have any additional yearbooks for students to purchase.

Our annual 4th and 5th grade dance will be on Friday afternoon from 4:45-6:30pm. All eligible students will get a ticket on Thursday afternoon. Parents will need to drop off students at the gym door at 4:45pm and pick up at 6:30pm.

Please remember our 24 hour illness policy and that there are no changes in transportation or early dismissals after 1:45pm for any reason.

It’s hard to believe the year is winding down, but we have a lot of important work to accomplish this week. Be at school on time and ready to show off that Bulldog Pride!

Mañana, todos los alumnos de quinto grado presentarán el examen final de Ciencias. También habrá otros exámenes finales y evaluaciones de recuperación. Por favor, asegúrense de que sus hijos duerman bien y desayunen adecuadamente. Todos los alumnos deben traer una mochila mañana.

What a week so far! Our teachers and staff have been treated to so many kindnesses from students and families to local business partners.

End of Grade Tests are on Thursday and Friday this week for 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students. It is EXTREMELY important that all students be at school on time having had a good breakfast both of these days. A letter was sent home last week letting you know which assessment your child will take on which day. If you have any questions, please contact your child’s teacher.

Families, this week is Teacher Appreciation Week! Each day, we strongly encourage our students and families to let their teachers know how much they are appreciated! On Monday, we ask that students bring in $5.00 gift cards to local fast food restaurants or stores for all staff to receive. Tuesday, bring in a flower for your child’s teacher, Wednesday, a school supply for their classroom, Thursday, a note thanking them for their hard work, and Friday, please send in one dozen store bought cookies or cupcakes for our staff to have a sweet treats buffet! We need ALL HH Beam Bulldogs to join together to show our teachers and staff how important they are to us!

Los exámenes de fin de curso para los alumnos de 3.º, 4.º y 5.º grado se realizarán el jueves y el viernes de esta semana. Es MUY importante que todos los alumnos lleguen a la escuela a tiempo y hayan desayunado bien ambos días. La semana pasada se envió una carta a casa informándoles qué examen realizará su hijo/a cada día. Si tienen alguna pregunta, comuníquense con el/la maestro/a de su hijo/a.

Familias, ¡esta semana es la Semana de Agradecimiento a los Maestros! ¡Cada día, les animamos a nuestros alumnos y familias a que les hagan saber a sus maestros cuánto los aprecian! El lunes, les pedimos a los alumnos que traigan tarjetas de regalo de $5.00 para restaurantes de comida rápida o tiendas locales para que las reciba todo el personal. El martes, traigan una flor para el/la maestro/a de su hijo/a; el miércoles, un útil escolar para su salón de clases; el jueves, una nota agradeciéndoles por su arduo trabajo; y el viernes, ¡por favor, traigan una docena de galletas o pastelitos comprados en la tienda para que nuestro personal disfrute de un bufé de dulces! ¡Necesitamos que todos los alumnos de HH Beam Bulldogs se unan para demostrarles a nuestros maestros y personal lo importantes que son para nosotros!
