What a great year it’s been at Grier! 🎉 We are so proud of all the hard work, growth, and accomplishments our students have shown from start to finish. From the classroom to extracurriculars, our Knights have truly shined!

As we wrap up the year, we wish all of our students and families a safe, fun, and relaxing summer. ☀️ We can’t wait to see everyone back in August, ready for another amazing year at the Castle!

Good evening, Parents! This is Dr. Mellon, keeping you updated with your final edition of the Knightly News for the 2025-2026 school year.

We will begin EOG retesting on Monday. Students were not proficient on their EOG will retest to improve their score. Please remember, retesting can only benefit your child. Even if they score lower on their retest, their higher score will be used in their academic record. We will retest Reading on Monday, Math on Tuesday, and 8th grade Science on Wednesday.

Eighth grade awards will be on Monday at 1:00 p.m., followed by the 8th grade picnic.

Wednesday, May 20th is the last day of school for students. It is a full day. Students will receive their report cards before they leave on Wednesday. If your student is not present to receive their report card, you can stop by the school and pick it up or view their grades in Infinite Campus.

We have 2 drivers out unexpectedly today. Please disregard the earlier message about the orange bus. Students riding orange should be at their stop at 8:20 a.m. this morning. If you have not been picked up by 9 a.m., please call the school.

Math EOG is tomorrow! 📐

Good luck to all of our Knights on the Math EOG! You’ve practiced, you’re prepared, and now it’s your time to shine. Stay confident, show your work, and take your time—you’ve got this!

Good evening, Parents! This is Dr. Mellon, keeping you updated with this week's edition of the Knightly News.

All grades will take their Reading EOG on Monday. Please make sure your child arrives to school on time and ready to do their best.

All grades will take their Math EOG on Wednesday.

We will have 6th and 7th grade End of Year Awards on Friday. Seventh grade awards will begin at 9:00 a.m. and Sixth grade awards will begin at 10:30 a.m. Parents will enter the building through the car rider entrance and be directed to the gym.

The 8th grade Dance will be Friday, May 15th @ 6 p.m. Tickets are $20 and will be sold until May 13th.

Our 8th grade End of Year Recognition will be held on Monday, May 18th at 1:00 p.m. followed by the 8th grade picnic.
