May 17th - The Relationship Needs Chocolate too: a M/s Perspective of Incorporating Self Care in the Dynamic Often individuals point to self care as “doing something extra for oneself”. Like a pamper day, or taking a vacation. We often get there with the idea of self care, but end up multi-tasking? Or try to rush through it? We forgot the self-care part.

It’s been a crazy year and I suck at keeping up with social media but trying to get better. So enjoy our little ninja flogger dude and a huge squishmallow “Bunny” donated to the LoftNC Littles events.

It's hard to believe the holidays are already here and it will be 2022 just around the corner. While 2021 was certainly better than 2020 in many ways, it was still challenging at the best of times. We miss seeing everyone on a regular basis. The LoftNC began as a home providing the community with education and a safe environment to play and explore kink. As we move into the new year, we are moving back to our roots with plans to offer regular educational demos and discussions both in-person and virtually. Our calendar is evolving and all suggestions for classes are always welcome. As usual, all in-person demos will be followed by open play and all are always welcome.

To all our friends, members, family (including chosen family), and those we have yet to meet, we wish you the warmest of holidays. No matter how you celebrate, be safe, eat too much and enjoy those who support you during the year. Reach out to those you haven't talked to and extend a virtual hug, it may make all the difference in their day.

Can't believe summer is half over. We miss seeing everyone and getting our weekly hugs. Hoping everyone is safe and healthy and looking forward to better times when we can get together safely again.

Our current plans are to reopen when the weather starts to cool and have bonfire parties and allow couples/play partners to go play, followed by clean up and then the next ones signed up to play can go.

More details to come later but for now, it's the best plan we can think of to get some play started again.

While we are still closed for social events for the foreseeable future, MSquared- and I gave the Loft a facelift - new paint, signage and more to make the LoftNC even better for you when we are able to open again.

Other news -

YES we are very in support of Black Lives Matter and are working diligently to make sure that our policies (while they have always stated that everyone is welcome and we don't do drama of any sort) will be updated to more specifically reflect our alignment and support of PoC.
YES we are still CLOSED for Socials at this time. With the rise of COVID cases across the country this may not change for some time. Our plan was to be open for small (10 or less) events at the end of August but we will have to see how the conditions are at that time.
YES we are open for private sessions and rentals only at this time. (leather house toys are not available for use)
YES we are meticulously cleaning even more than we already did.
YES we are producing as many Zoom demos/discussions as we can and our plans are to continue to do so even after we open as we feel that these have the potential to reach around the world and education in all forms is invaluable.
