🪴 About me 🪴

My name is Mary, I formally worked at a daycare (Emerging childcare, in Gary, Indiana) for 7 of the 15 years the home daycare was in business. I went looking for affordable, quality care for my children and ended up getting a job there as a childcare provider, that job quickly became my passion, seeing children learn and grow under my care is most rewarding. I furthered my education and became an assistant teacher, a year later I opened my own home daycare and it is more than just a business to me! Prior to that, growing up I always wanted to be a teacher, I gained babysitting experience young by looking after family members. Now, I strive to provide high-quality childcare at affordable rates to families. I strongly believe that children are the future ✨

🪴 My qualifications/certifications 🪴

- I am CPR certified (infant, toddler, child, adult)
- I have completed all requirements by the state of Indiana to become a licensed childcare provider
- safe sleep certification
- child abuse and neglect certification training
- health and safety modules certification
- first aid certification
+ many extra hours of ILEAD training and loads of certifications to be as knowledgeable as possible
- most of all I love children 🫶🏾
