What a fantastic start to the day with our annual WOW Club Walk and Ride to school event! We loved seeing so many students, staff, and parents showing up bright and early to participate and get moving together. The beautiful early morning sunrise provided the perfect backdrop as our community gathered. Our Williams Family geared up and ready to go with their bikes, scooters, helmets, and bright safety vests. Thank you to everyone who walked, rode, and smiled for the camera this morning. A massive "Paws up" to our amazing sponsor, Sharonne Scott, for her incredible leadership, support, and dedication to our students! What a fantastic start to the day with our annual W.O.W. Club-- Walk and Ride to school event! We loved seeing so many students, staff, and parents showing up bright and early to participate and get moving together. 💙 OCTOBER IS BULLYING PREVENTION MONTH!💙

At Williams Elementary, our staff and scholars are committed to bringing awareness to bullying prevention! This month, we are BLUING OUT and STOMPING OUT BULLYING!👟💙

We want every scholar to know that kindness matters, words matter, and everyone deserves to feel safe, respected, and included.

Parents & Families:Please take time to talk with your scholars about bullying. Remind them that bullying is hurtful and mean, and at Williams, WE DO NOT BULLY!
Encourage them to:
💙 Use kind words
💙 Include others
💙 Stand up for others
💙 Tell a trusted adult when they see bullying
💙 Choose respect—at school AND online

It takes all of us working together to create a safe and welcoming school community.

Last week was a week of connection and community at Williams! We were bursting with love and excitement during our Grandparent’s Day and Open House events. It was truly wonderful seeing so many families come out and support our school.

We want to extend a HUGE thank you to our incredible community partners Pure Gospel Ministries, The Gary Food Collective, City View Food Truck, Zeta Phi Beta, Inc., and the Res Cross. Thanks to their generous support, we were able to give away book bags, Food and gas Gift Cards, full totes of cleaning supplies, and other valuable resources for our families.

To every staff member who supported, volunteered and participated— THANK YOU! Your dedication makes our school a special place.
