🍕Tuesday Night Fundraiser at Pizza Hut!🍕

Every Tuesday night, present a fundraiser flyer when you dine in, pick up your order, or have your order delivered, and 20% will be donated back to Prairie Point Early Learning Center!

If you need flyers, please arrange a time to stop by the center and grab some! If you can’t make it by, just let us know and we’ll find a way to get some to you!

A huge thank you to Pizza Hut in Garnett for supporting Prairie Point and helping us give back to our kiddos!

💚 A Little Transparency About Our Weekly Food Requests 💚

We wanted to take a moment to be transparent with our community about why we’ve been asking for food donations each week.

As a daycare, providing nutritious meals and snacks for the children in our care is incredibly important to us. Right now, we are in the final stages of completing our full licensing process. (Also it’s important to note, we do currently have a temporary license!) Until that process is complete, there are certain food programs and resources that we are not yet eligible to apply for.

That means, for the time being, we are relying on the generosity of our community to help us keep our shelves stocked and make sure our children have the meals and snacks they need each day. ❤️

This is not something we expect to have to do forever. We are very close to completing the licensing process, and once we are fully licensed, we will be able to pursue food assistance programs and other resources that will help make providing meals more sustainable for our center.

In the meantime, every bag of groceries, box of snacks, gallon of milk, or monetary donation makes a real difference. We are incredibly grateful to the families, businesses, churches, and community members who have stepped up to support our little center.

We know our community has a lot of needs, and we never want to take your generosity for granted. We simply want you to understand why we ask, where your donations are going, and that this is a temporary part of getting our center fully established.

Thank you for believing in our mission, supporting our children, and helping us build something that will serve local families for years to come. 💚

We truly couldn’t do this without our community.
