Bullock Elementary School

We are incredibly thankful for a successful and inspiring Career Day at Bullock Elementary! Our students had the opportunity to learn from an amazing group of presenters, including representatives from the United States Army, pharmacy technicians, several of our wonderful parents sharing their careers, a commercial sign electrician, an animal shelter representative, a retired truck driver, and our valued Partners in Education, GEOMet.

Throughout the day, students were highly engaged and asked thoughtful, meaningful questions that truly impressed our presenters. Many of our guests shared how complimentary they were of our students’ character, curiosity, and respectful participation.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to making this day such a memorable experience for our Bullock Bears. Your support helps inspire our students to dream big and explore their future possibilities! 🐻💙

GARLAND ISD SOCIAL MEDIA PARTICIPATION AGREEMENT

Serving 52,000 students, 7,500 staff and the tri-cities of Garland, Rowlett and Sachse, Garland ISD uses social media to share important information, good news, school closings and upcoming events. Page administrators are responsible for the operation and monitoring of individual sites.While public comments are welcome and encouraged, they must adhere to the district’s participation agreement. Its intent is to protect the privacy and rights of GISD students, staff and community members rather than keep negative or critical opinions from being posted. Please allow for a 24-hour response window to all messages or inquiries.

By posting to this page, you agree not to:

- Make profane, obscene, offensive, sexually explicit, inappropriate, inflammatory or otherwise objectionable comments
- Threaten, harass, defame or libel any individual or entity
- Break the law or encourage others to do so. This includes respecting privacy, intellectual property and publication rights
- Include phone numbers, email addresses or confidential information of anyone other than yourself.
If you choose to post your own contact information, be aware that it will be available to the public and subject to misuse
- Promote or advertise products or events unrelated to GISD
- Solicit business, membership or financial support for organizations or groups unaffiliated with GISD
- Engage in spam, such as posting chain letters or the same comment multiple times
- Allow other individuals or entities to use your identification for posting or viewing comments
- Comment under multiple names or using another person’s name

GISD reserves the right to:
- Disable public comments
- Remove or edit comments
- Ban individuals who repeatedly violate the district’s participation agreement
- Amend the participation agreement to address issues that arise or changes in operations or the law

All comments and material posted to GISD-sponsored sites become the district’s property. By participating, users give GISD the irrevocable right and license to display, modify, reproduce, distribute, create other works from and publish submissions. Users also agree to indemnify and hold harmless the district, as well as its employees and affiliates, against damages, losses, liabilities, judgments, causes of action, costs or expenses arising out of any claim by a third party relating to material posted on GISD-sponsored sites.
