Future Stars Summer Camp is back at Nassau Community College!

Camp programs for children ages 3–15 combine athletics, creativity, and hands-on STEAM learning in a structured, supportive environment led by experienced coaches and educators. With flexible weekly sessions and daily indoor swim, families can build a schedule that works for them.

Camp runs June 29–August 21. Program highlights include:

🔹 Chamber Music Ensemble (MUS 123) – Perform in small instrumental groups including duos, trios, and quartets. Open enrollment.
🔸 Chorus (MUS 111) – Open enrollment for all singers.
🔹 Jazz Ensemble (MUS 115) – Drummers, percussionists, guitarists, bassists, pianists, wind and brass players, and vocalists are welcome. Open enrollment.
🔸 Orchestra (MUS 109) – Join fellow musicians in a full orchestral setting. Open enrollment.

Last week was an inspiring milestone as 30 students celebrated their success through this transformative initiative, the largest graduating cohort in the program's history. Their determination, resilience, and commitment demonstrate the power of second chances and the impact of accessible pathways to higher education.

Rebound on the Road empowers individuals to pursue academic success while preparing for meaningful careers and brighter futures.

Nassau Community College and the College radio station, 90.3 WHPC, have partnered with Connoisseur Media Long Island to create new opportunities for students interested in broadcasting, marketing, journalism, digital media, sales, and more.

Through this collaboration, students will gain access to internships, professional mentorship, hands-on industry experience, and career pathways while connecting classroom learning with real-world media environments.
