WALK THE DOG 🐶 (5-10 years old)
Directions: Have the player dribble around in a designated area. The goal is for the player to be in as much control as possible, “don’t let your dog get to far.”
After allowing player time to dribble, coach will yell, “OH NO, I LOST MY DOG!” Player will then kick the ball as hard as they can and will race toward the ball and rescue their dog!
Repeat.
*Great drill to improve dribbling skills and works on the kicking power fundamentals 💥💪
