DAs Present: Storytime with Brad Whitaker

Come to the Kenyon DA’s next “Storytime With…” event! This bimonthly gathering is an opportunity for members of our surrounding community to listen and respond to one another’s personal narratives. This week’s event will feature Brad Whitaker, an MNVU professor and local pastor. Brad—who grew up in Swaziland, South Africa, and Mount Vernon—will be speaking about the roles he’s had as an educator in Dominica, New York City, San Diego, and finally back in Knox County (for now). In his story, he will explore how our answers to the question “Where are you from?” can ultimately be about the difference we make in others’ lives, wherever we are. Afterward, those present can speak to what resonated with them. Come for story, conversation, and communion.
