🌼 Happy Vernal Equinox (aka the First Day of Spring)! 🌼
This week, we learned all about the vernal equinox, and we were ready for it. It was a little chilly, but we made the best of it with hot cider, fireside lessons, and a fun, long hike to warm up our bodies.
🌷Today, however, is nice and warm—so get outside and enjoy this beautiful SPRING day!🌷
Our first day of Honeycomb Nature Society was such a sweet start to the season at Gregory Family Farm🍯🌿
We had beautiful weather as we studied nesting birds, made suet rings for our feathered friends, and spent plenty of time splashing and exploring in the creek.
There’s nothing better than kids learning in God’s creation. We’re so excited for all the adventures ahead!

🌿 Honeycomb Nature Society – Spring Registration Open 🌿
After a beautiful fall season of learning, exploring, and growing together, we’re opening Spring registration for Honeycomb Nature Society to the public.
Honeycomb Nature Society is a hands on, nature based learning community for children ages 5–12 who thrive outside—getting their hands dirty, asking questions, making friends, and learning through real-life experiences. Our days are slow, intentional, and rooted in curiosity, creativity, and connection. Think nature walks, exploration, journaling, free play, seasonal learning, and the kind of friendships that form when kids are given space to just be kids.
Watching children build confidence, form friendships, and learn side by side has truly been a gift, and we would love to continue that into the spring.
🌱 Spring Semester Dates:
March 4 & 18
April 1, 15, & 29
May 6
💛 Cost: $380 per child

🌿🌼 Spring is Officially Here! 🌼🌿
It may be cool and windy today, but yesterday was the perfect way to celebrate the end of winter and welcome the first day of spring! The Honeycomb Nature Society gathered to create sweet arrangements of daffodils — spring’s very first blooms. 🌸
There’s nothing like a little sunshine, laughter, and the joy of nature’s renewal to remind us that warmer days are just around the corner. ☀️🐝
How are you welcoming spring this year? 💛

🌿✨ Embracing the Beauty in the Small Things 🌸🦋
At Honeycomb Nature Society, we believe that true beauty isn’t always found in grand moments or impressive sweeping landscapes. Sometimes, it's in the tiny details that often go unnoticed—the delicate flutter of a butterfly’s wings, the gentle rustling of leaves in the breeze, or the intricate details of a flower petal. 🌺
Life’s greatest wonders are often hidden in the small, quiet moments. 🌱 It's about pausing, observing, and appreciating the natural world in all its forms. Let’s take time to connect with nature, find joy in simplicity, and remember that sometimes, the smallest things hold the most profound beauty. 🌍💚
