Eight years ago I wrote this in the middle of a storm I did not yet understand.

Today, I’m reading it from the other side.

What once felt like survival has become strength. What felt like loss became wisdom I would not have gained any other way. What felt like fire refined me. It did not destroy me.

I did rise. I did prevail. And I now see clearly what that season gave me.

If you are walking through your own fire right now, please hear me. There is purpose unfolding even when you cannot see it. Stay rooted. Stay faithful. Keep walking.

Eight years later, I can testify. God wastes nothing.

There comes a moment when God brings you out of the quiet place and calls you into the assignment He shaped in the dark. It is beautiful, but it is also sobering.

I’m learning how to walk boldly in this new season as God stretches my capacity, reshapes my relationships, and reminds me that purpose comes with weight.

The hidden season formed me.
The shift positioned me.
The tension refined me.
The choice anchored me.

Purpose requires visibility, but visibility still demands surrender.

And here is the truth God keeps pressing into my heart.
He never exposes what He has not already prepared.

If you’re in that transition between unseen and called, you’re not alone.
Your voice is needed.
Your story carries power.
And God is with you in every step of becoming.**
