The Childcare Center Director has direct oversight and primary responsibility to develop and oversee approved curriculum goals, standards and learning objectives to facilitate personal development and implementation of the early childhood education program. The Childcare Center Director is to insure compliance with corporate policies and procedures and state, local and federal regulations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Project and live a Christian lifestyle before staff, clients and community.
• Plan and implement a faith based, age-appropriate curriculum.
• Develop annual budgets and enrollment initiatives
• Ensure compliance with governing authority regulations.
• Coordinate open house, orientations, graduation ceremonies, and parent engagement.
• Oversee food program.
• Build and maintain a healthy, professional and supportive work culture for staff, substitute teachers, and volunteers.
• Interview, Schedule, Train, Evaluate, and provide professional development programs.

Skills and Education Requirements:
• Associate Degree or higher in Early Education (preferred;
• Must have active Director Credentials with VPK endorsement;
• Must have active CPR/First Aid Certification;
• Must have active and current FCCPC Certificate (formerly CDA Credential);
• Strong leadership qualities, ability to coordinate, inspire and motivate staff;
• Clear background check and fitness to work with children;
• Successful experience as a teacher and administrator in educational environment;
• Ability to maintain confidentially.
