College Highlight Series No. 3!

The Herbert Wertheim Laboratory for Engineering Excellence is the most recent addition to the College of Engineering at the University of Florida. It is home to the Freshman Engineering Design Lab, Prototyping Lab, First Year Advising, and study spaces for all students.

Come to GEE Day to tour this building and learn all about the Herbert Wertheim College of Engineering has to offer! We are so excited to see all of you next week!

College Highlight Series No. 2! This week, we are featuring Weil Hall!

Weil Hall is named after Joseph Weil, who was the Dean of the College of Engineering from 1937 to 1963. This building is home to the Civil Engineering Pit, the Dean's Office, and many engineering student organizations' offices.

Introducing our College Highlights Series! To gear up for GEE Day, we are featuring some of the engineering buildings on campus on our Instagram. This week, we are featuring the New Engineering Building!

The New Engineering Building was completed in 1997. This building features a rotunda and unique hyperbolic architecture that reflects sound!

We had a great time at Lake Wauburg on Sunday for EA’s annual NewbEA RetrEAt!

We had some friendly team competition, played games, and ended the day with our mentorship reveal.

Shout out to our Social Chairs, Blake and Phoebe, for making this such a special event!

Announcing our next upcoming recruitment event: Field Day! Join us this Saturday 1/21 at the Southwest Rec Center Softball Field to get to know the EAs with some fun outdoor activities! We hope to see you there!

Get your game face on because we’re having our next recruitment event, Game Night, on Tuesday (1/17) from 6:00-8:00 in Weil 270!
