Important P2P Information!!!

Homework Due by Saturday, May 17th:

1. Mini-essay #2
2. Complete Destination preparation module: Food and Daily Life
3. Complete Destination quiz: Food and Daily Life
4. Final destination Project Fair Presentations!!

5. Journal entry #3
*How are final travel preparations progressing?
*What skills are you using for your packing and other final preparations that you learned from your previous travels?
* If this is your first travel experience, where did you learn the skills you are using in packing and preparing for this program?
*How do your pre-travel feelings and perspectives differ from your previous travel experience?

6. Completed Waivers (make copies)
7. Money for T-Shirts $10
8. Your 3 Journal Entries will be checked at this time
9. Packed Suitcase/Back pack/ bottled water (bring to 5/17 meeting)
*Please include emergency kit in your packing
10. Bring original Passports to be collected and signed
11. Bring Outstanding documentation (health forms, photo copies, Passport copies, success contracts)

AmbassadorsGiving.org Quick Scholarship Facts:
1.Some, BUT NOT ALL, of our scholarships are need-based, which is defined as a family with an income of $50,000 or below. Income will be verified before a scholarship is awarded.
2.Applications can be completed online through the Foundation’s website at www.AmbassadorsGiving.org by clicking on “Apply Now”
3.This year the Foundation has further diversified its scholarships to include scholarships which take a student’s artistic, academic, athletic, volunteer, leadership, social, and role modeling abilities into consideration.
4.Scholarships are not paid to the student, rather they are paid to the organization with which the student is traveling (mainly People to People Ambassador Programs).
5.It is possible for a student to be awarded more than one scholarship. A student may apply for all scholarships for which they qualify.
