Last night was a GREAT night! 🎉

We had an amazing turnout for Vibe at 5, co-hosted by Gainesville ISD and Communities In Schools of North Texas as part of the Gainesville Area Chamber of Commerce.

💬 We answered lots of great questions about GISD and CISNT programs, shared more about the ways we support our students and families, and enjoyed some great conversations with our community.

A huge thank you to everyone who came out and helped make the evening such a success! We love getting the opportunity to connect with our community and showcase all the amazing things happening through GISD and CISNT.

Texas Women’s Independence Day

🖤❤️ Today, Gainesville ISD celebrates Texas Women’s Independence Day, honoring the ratification of the 19th Amendment in 1920, which guaranteed women the right to vote and expanded opportunities for future generations.
August 26 is recognized in Texas as a day to reflect on the courage, determination, and contributions of women throughout our nation's history.

As we educate and inspire the next generation of leaders, we recognize the women who have helped shape our schools, communities, state, and country.
