We are so fortunate to have Steve as our field guide for the Great Barrier Reef Module! He joins us in Port Douglas (if we don’t see him wrangling snakes in Mossman) to walk our students through all things coral and how we impact the health of these ecosystems. As if that wasn’t enough, he is our unofficial reef photographer and shark whisperer 📸🦈

We have some posting to make up for now that we have service!
Days 13-15 we travelled to Tryconnell just near Mt. Mulligan to learn about the challenges living in remote Australia and the ecology of the dry forest. Not pictured was some epic star gazing, working on ethnography papers and great meals!
