Talking Gators

Talking Gators Toastmasters WILL be meeting this week, December 16. We will be off the following two weeks, Dec 22 and Dec 29 to allow for travel and UF holiday closure, and then resume in the new year.

Thank you everyone for showing up to the 1st Talking Gators Toastmasters of 2025! With a speech about Dating in the 21st Century and our Table Topics about Galileo Galilei (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Galileo_Galilei). There was no better way to start the new year! Talking Gators Toastmasters We are a Toastmasters club based on campus at the University of Florida. We focus on helping members improve their public speaking and leadership skills. We meet every Tuesday at 5:45pm. You do not need to be affiliated with the University to join.

Effective next week (August 27), we will be returning to our original pre-2020 meeting time (5:45) to allow more time for meetings! Make sure you update your calendars!

We are currently watching the progress of Hurricane Ian as it makes its way towards the Florida coast. UF will be still be open today (Tuesday), so our meeting will remain in the hybrid format unless conditions change.
