Just spent an amazing five days at our headquarters in NYC with our founders Dylan Hintz and Abra Burkett where they tested myself and Logan Beveridge the new rank of Apprentice Coach. I am stoked for everyone that trains with us down here to have the experience of training with them soon. They are doing amazing things up in the city that we are luck to be expanding to Florida!

Come out and support us this weekend as we recreate a duel from the 16th century!

Greetings everyone. It’s time to make an old event new again. That event is “The School of the Sixteenth Century”. The Saint Augustine Historical Society has partnered with the Historic Florida Militia to present this years “School” on the beautiful grounds of the Oldest House Museum Complex. (Located at 14 St. Francis Street. Old Town Trolley has a stop directly outside the museum.) Because of the new venue, we will be able to have a weekend long encampment for this school. On Friday February 18 all the visitors of the Museum can meet with the living history Interpreters and take in all the sights of the encampment. See what what life was like in the very beginnings of our city. “Classes” will be held at the encampment on Saturday Feb 19. Witness demonstrations of historic weapons, including the crossbow, the matchlock musket, pikes, and edged weapons. See the clothing, crafts, culinary techniques, and the military and religious practices of that time. Admission to the museum will be free and open to the public both days.
To commemorate the 503rd Anniversary of the birth of our City’s Founder, Pedro Menendez de Aviles, birthday cake will be served to the public during a special evening event at the Oldest House Museum Complex. Walk the beautiful grounds of the museum while enjoying some delicious cake. See the living history interpreters in their finest 16th century clothing. The cake cutting will be at 6:30pm and will be free and open to the public.

Making our debut on the Gainesville theatre scene in designing the fight/stunt choreography for “Oliver: The Musical!” This cast was incredible to work with and I’m hoping to recruit as many of them for training as possible!!
