Our Story

Welcome to my Childcare Home! My name is Ms. Kimberley and I have been providing care for children in Frisco, since 1990. I am registered by the Texas Department of Family & Protective Services. I am also CPR/First-Aid/AED Certified in infants, children & adults. Hours of operation are M-F 7:00am-5:00pm. My program is designed for infants and toddlers with my main goal being to introduce an educational atmosphere to the children in my care as well as maintain a healthy, loving, exciting environment while teaching children manners, sharing, taking turns and building long lasting relationships while fostering a lifelong love of learning. We prepare for preschool by learning our alphabet, letter recognition, numbers, shapes, color spectrum, taking turns, learning independence, learning to utilize our time, practicing critical thinking and challenging ourselves through trial and error and possible consequences. We treat every day as a blessing and we try to enhance every moment as a chance to learn something new and how to share what we learn with others. The children in my care are always my first priority. I absolutely LOVE what I do and cherish every milestone in each child's lives. I take great pleasure in my work with children and I know I am very lucky to be able to participate and play an integral part in each individual child's developmental process. Below you will find some of my childcare philosophies as well as what my program has to offer your child.
~*What My program offers*~

*An important benefit of In-home childcare, as opposed to center-based care, is a warm, inclusive family setting. A home atmosphere fosters an overall feeling of contentment and security. Children learn from an early age that they are loved and respected. Small groups are also less stressful to children. In a smaller group setting children are able to form closer social bonds and get personal attention from someone who truly knows and cares for them. We pride ourselves on maintaining a low-risk of illness atmosphere based on less people entering our environment as opposed to a large commercial daycare facility. My adult to child ratio never exceeds 6:1 as determined by the Texas Department of Family & Protective Services Minimum Standards Law of Operation.

*A structured daily routine including age-appropriate learning activities for Pre-school readiness, circle/story time, tummy time for infants, all levels of development including social, physical, emotional and intellectual. We read, work on our ABC's, color and letter recognition, outdoor play, nap/rest time, art projects, manipulatives, singing, work on manners and sharing. We utilize our time during the course of our day to allow time for many different activities appropriate for the growing curious child. We enjoy a nutritious breakfast, lunch and snack including whole grains, fresh fruits & veggies, organic meats, yogurts, 100% juices, whole milk & filtered water as part of our total healthy child commitment.

*One on one attention between the provider and your child. Special time for bonding and for children becoming comfortable in their environment as well as with other children creating a well adjusted confident, happy child. We have a small group ratio where we learn to work together as a team, take turns, share and challenge ourselves through trial and error as we learn to achieve autonomy as well as a positive outlook, yet still maintain the individual small group basis which allows us to bond with friends, build strong relationships and foster a love for learning. We learn to recognize our strengths and our weaknesses, testing different approaches through problem solving skills, critical thinking and possible consequences.

*Comfort for parents knowing a patient, dedicated, nurturing, educated provider is caring for their child. As a childcare provider, I meet and exceed the mandatory childcare classes annually, attending classes, workshops, seminars & conferences including shaken baby syndrome, SIDS, brain development, nutrition, all aspects of child development, business management, sanitation, promoting good health, how to deal with biting, and so much more. Learning is a never ending process which I thoroughly enjoy. I regularly attend Continuing Education Classes at Collin County Community College to enhance my program and all it has to offer

"Mission Statement"~ It is my mission as a childcare provider to guide children in a positive direction towards reaching their highest potential, achieving their personal best and maintaining a healthy, loving and educational environment to facilitate each child's developmental process~
